FYI, further to the interview with Pablo Solón posted a couple of days
ago : A link to the recording of a conference call this last week with
Pablo Solón on the Cochabamba Conference coming up this next month.
This was the second such Conference Call (as far as I know), the first
having been held on February 8.
Although there were a larger number of people on the call this time –
some 38, I think – and there were a somewhat larger number and
proportion of people from the South than last time (5 out of 38, vs 1
out of 21 in the first call), what was again very noticeable – from
the questions and concerns and also from the names of the
organisations, as far as I could make them out – was that there were,
again, no movement organisations on the call, at all. I therefore
specifically asked Pablo Solón whether they could not take some steps
in this regard, and also in what ways they could support / relate to
solidarity actions that movement organisations in the South might want
to take.
NB : Please note that the attachment I am sending is not the original,
as sent out by the sender of this message I am forwarding, but with
some very minor proofing I have done.
